Hey everyone! There’s been a mistake in question number 38. Nucleophilic addition increases the number of carbon atoms. So if we add CN to propan-1-ol we will get 2-hydroxybutanenitrile. The answer should be C, not A. Sorry for this mistake! It would have been A if the final compound produced was 2-hydroxypentanenitrile. However, in this question the correct answer is C (propan-1-ol).
