Gender-based Rights and Responsibilities in Quran

Islam gave human rights to women which is the foundation for any movement of women's rights. Women are often expected to be obedient wives and mothers staying within the family environment and men are expected to be protectors and caretakers of the family. In Islam, women are considered as figure of respect, shame, and modesty.
