The Bundled Spindle Technique... Bow Drill Friction Fire With Horseweed Flower Heads

I developed this technique some years ago. The first couple of videos I called it the Composite Spindle. I later decided that Bundled Spindle sounded better. This technique was meant to be used with about 7 small sticks bundled together to make a spindle. I never anticipated it working so well with these tiniest of branches. I no longer have the first videos where I introduced this technique (I have erased 100s of my videos over the years) but there are many people around that remember them. Another one that I erased was called the Confused Spindle it was a bundled spindle made up of, I think 7, different species. I may go ahead and make one like that again.
