The basics of the child-parent relationship have remained the same since ever.  Similarly, the way parents communicate with children about safety remain the same. Here are a few tips to figure out how to speak with your child about their online safety.
1) Let your child know that the same rules apply online as apply offline.
2) Try to be a good role model.
3) Engage early.
4) Identify and seize key moments.
5) Trust yourself.
6) Ask your children to teach you.
