How to Start your Lexus when your Smart Key battery is dead.
If you press your Engine Start/Stop button and a message appears on your dash "KEY NOT DETECTED," the next step is to place your Lexus Smart Key within an inch of the Engine Start/Stop button. Next you will see a message "DEPRESS BRAKE PEDAL AND PUSH ENGINE SWITCH TO START."
If you follow these instructions your engine will start. If you have any questions please stop by! There is no appointment necessary, just bring your Lexus in!
