How to split a shape into equal parts in PowerPoint

Ever wonder how to split a shape into 2 or 4 in PowerPoint?  Although there is no split or crop shape feature in PowerPoint, but we can always do a workaround with the merge shapes feature.  Spend a few minutes to learn the concept and you'll be able to split a shape into equal parts in no time at all.
