Beginner Knitting with Marly Bird and Marly's Mom Lesson 3 Changing Colors! Time for your online knitting lesson ;-)
Add some excitement to your knitting by changing colors. Marly shows you (and her mom) how to do basic stripes and how to float the color up from row to row. She doesn't get SUPER in depth with intarsia or fair isle or anything like that, in time sje will get to those things. For now, you and Marly's mom just need to know the basics of color changes.
Plus, there is the added bonus that having stripes in your knitting will help when Marly teaches how to fix common mistakes in Lesson 4!
Marly and Marly's Mom start the video discussing the experiences, challenges and funny moments Marly's mom has had since the last video. Then they get to the knitty gritty (no pun intended) around 5 min.
Homework:
Use the long tail cast on and cast on 12 stitches.
Knit 1 row,
Purl 1 row,
*change colors
Knit 1 row
Purl 1 row
Repeat from * for at least 5 in [13 cm]
