My electricity bill was MUCH
My electricity bill was MUCH higher this August than last. I went from just over 2kWh to just under 3kWh.
What happened???
Well, in this video I show you as I bust out the most important tool you need to have, a Kill A Watt to measure the electricity usage on your appliances.
A couple things to remember. Any heating device will use an enormous amount of electricity. So, if you're trying to reduce electricity consumption you definitely want to look at other ways to heat things.
I LOVE natural gas for instance. Also, a french press for making coffee.
Don't run your oven at 5pm on a HOT Southern afternoon either. Cook outside, with your grill. Tastes better anyway.
