Today, I go over 100 of the reasons Emerald Scales, my exotic reptile company, went out of business. Emerald Scales was a service that took in, rehomed and sold pet reptiles and amphibians to and from almost anywhere in the USA. I co-created it in 2017 and with the help of around a dozen other people, it ran until the end of 2022 when I officially closed it for good.
