In The One, Jet Li faces his toughest opponent ever ... himself. In this review we'll remember the best fight scene: Jet Li VS Jet Li and, of course, discuss the plot of the film. Multiple universe, martial arts - this film has all you need. I look back on this early 2000s flick and see if it holds up. The clear Matrix inspiration has definitely shown its age but there are still some impressive visuals and the movie runs very fast. Late 90s hard rock aside, The One is an easy watch with plenty of Jet Li martial arts excellence to pass the quick runtime.
