Panasonic's newest laptop, the Toughbook FZ-55, takes over where the CF-54 left off. In this video, Bob goes through the differences in the laptops' appearance and features. Reviewing the reason why, after years of using the CF designation, Panasonic decided to change to FZ. Another physical comparison of size and looks points to the swappable parts between the two laptops. Watch to learn these differences.
A significant issue with the CF-54 was battery life. Watch how Bob shows the advantages of upgrading to the FZ-55 based on battery life. Not to mention the upgrade options available for the FZ-55. Unlike the CF-54, the 55 has several upgrade ports that accept xPak modules. Bob shows where these ports are and what upgrades can be installed in this video.
Last but not least, Bob compares the keyboards and mouse pads. There are some subtle differences that most people would overlook. In this video, Bob shows those differences and even offers his opinion on the quality of the features.
Not all Toughbooks are created equal. The Toughbook FZ-55 definitely has some great features but does come with some differences that we have yet to see. In this video, we only scratch the surface of those differences. This is one of the first in several videos where we dig into the Panasonic Toughbook FZ-55 laptop.
