In this segment of the NX-01 video build series the time has come to apply the intricate Aztec panel decals. I began by following the guide provided with the decal set from Acreation. It has you starting on the top front of the saucer and then working back to the engines. After I completed adding a few sections I stopped and sprayed on a light coat of Testor's decal bonder. It takes about 10 minutes or so for that to dry and after, I moved on to another section. After about 3 1/2 hours, I have finished the entire top side of the model.
I then sprayed on a coat of Testor's clear and it is now sealed up.
Next it's on to the bottom side to reapeat the process. After that the small detail decals will be added and the decal work will be finished.
The next video will be the final of the series and will show the completed model mounted on
the display base.
