The history of Demak is always associated with the Demak Kingdom which was founded by Raden Patah. This story is based on the news from the Babad Tanah Jawi, which was only written 200 years after the Demak Kingdom itself. But what about the historical picture of Demak according to primary sources?
This video will dissect the true history of the Demak Kingdom. Is it true that this kingdom was founded by Raden Patah? And is it true that the Demak Kingdom is a continuation of Majapahit culture? Information from primary sources, including artifacts found around Demak, shows another face of Demak's history that has been covered up. That is why AISI intends to dissect everything, both from primary sources in the form of texts, as well as artefactual evidence that can be found in Demak.
It turns out that there are many unique facts about Indonesian history that are worth looking at, of course from a new perspective. For example, about Hindu-Buddhist kingdoms in Indonesia, Hindu-Buddhist kingdoms in the archipelago, ancient Javanese philosophy, ancient Javanese philosophy, even Javanese habits in ancient Javanese culture, both in the form of writing and temples.
