Querying literary agents is tough!
Querying literary agents is tough! 3 years ago I was submitting Dark Pines to slushpiles. Now it’s a bestseller published in multiple languages. I had no connections in publishing and no real knowledge of the industry. Today I share my actual query letter and talk you through each paragraph. I hope it’ll be helpful.
Literary agents have very little time so it’s vital you get your query letter, synopsis, and sample pages in great shape before you press send. Your query letter doesn’t have to be perfect - the aim is to capture the agent’s attention so they move on to page one of your manuscript.
