Mutton Koyla Karahi is a flavorful Pakistani dish made with tender mutton (goat meat) cooked in a rich and aromatic spice blend. The name “Koyla” refers to the smoky flavor imparted to the dish using charcoal. Here’s how you can make it:
𝗜𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:
𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴:
Mutton : 500 gram
Ginger and garlic paste : 1 tbsp
Water : 1 glass
Salt : 1/2 tsp
Now cover it and cook it after the whistle, for 12 to 14 minutes
𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀:
Coriander: 1 tbsp,Cumin:1 tsp,Black pepper: 8-10,Cardamom: 1,Cloves: 4 to 5,Red chili: 3-4
𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴:
Oil : 1/3 cup
Sliced onion : 2 medium size
Fry it until color change to light golden
Remaining Ginger and garlic paste
Tomato chopped : 2 medium size
Now cover it and cook it on low flame for 2 minutes
Mutton with stock
Spices
Turmeric powder : 1/2 tsp
Red chili powder : 1/2 tsp
Salt : 1/2 tsp
Water : 1/2 cup
Now cover it and cook it on low medium flame for 4 to 5 minutes
Sliced green chili : 2 to 3
For smoky flavor, Place foil paper
Burned charcoal
Now few drops of oil on it
Now cover it and cook it for 2 minutes
Fresh ginger sliced
