The Problem with Early Access Games

More and more games seem to be taking the Early Access approach to development. While this has definitely delivered some fantastic final products, I personally can't stand the model. It may feel like an old man yelling at the sky but there has to be a better way of doing things instead of releasing pieces of a game over long stretches of time. A way that doesn't put pressure on developers but also doesn't flood the market with undercooked products.
