Lemon glazed cakeIngredients:- Zest of
Lemon glazed cake
Ingredients:
- Zest of 2 lemons
- 3/4 cup refined sugar
- 2 room temp eggs
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1/3 cup yogurt
- 1 & 1/4 cup flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla

Glaze:
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp butter
Method:
- Preheat the oven to 180 C / 350 F
- Rub together lemon zest and sugar with hands to properly incorporate them and enhance the taste.
- Add in the wet ingredients and mix well
- Fold in the dry ingredients gently with a spatula. Don’t over mix.
- Add the mixture into a greased and properly lined pan
- Bake at 350 F for the first 15 minutes and lower the temp to 340 F for the next 25 minutes.
- Cool the cake for 10 mins
- Drizzle the glaze and enjoy!
