Greetings fellow paganpals! Bellarosa here and I’m bringing you some tips and tricks for every Witch, so check it out!
1. Create your own tea light protection candles from a taper candle. Break up the candle and place the pieces in an empty and clean soda can with the lid removed using a can opener. Melt the wax in a pan with a couple of inches of boiling water. Remove tea light candles from their molds. Hot glue votive wicks in the center of the molds. I'm using Simple Serenity votive wicks from Michaels craft store. Pour the wax into the molds and use something solid so the wicks have something to lean on as they set. Trim wicks to 1/4 inch.
2. Cut citrus fruits in half and juice them, but save and freeze the rinds to use as offering bowls. Be sure to trim the ends of lemons to make sure they lay flat on a surface.
3. Tried and true tips include using birthday candles for spell work and element candles, using a glass cup from Dollar Tree as a chalice, buying inexpensive spices to use for spell work, and turning a letter opener into an athame.
4. A Witch’s Cupboard can be made from a craft box, a toolbox, and even a shoebox, but consider using a make-up box too! It’s already finished, sturdy, and ready for use.
5. Men’s dress shirts typically have pins that can be used in Sympathetic Magic, like making Poppets.
6. Instead of burning a large sage bundle, separate the stems and burn them as you need them. This prevents the whole bundle from having that half-burnt smell and also helps it to last longer. Put a small bunch of sage into an organza bag for an on-the-go cleansing pouch.
