Too much spin is the enemy of far too many golfers... it is a major cause of losing maximum distance. Golfers who can reduce spin on their driver tee shots will add extra yards to every shot.
You see, spin rate has a major influence on the height and distance of a shot.

If you want to get the Rainbow ball flight for maximum carry and roll, the ball needs to fly high ideally with a minimum amount of spin. A swing path so that it’s in-to-out over the target line with an upward angle of attack will assist that goal and Alistair Davies provides some simple golf tips and practice drills to accomplish just that. Swinging inside to out and hitting up on the ball will give you the best chance of that high-launch, low-spin match to give you the best chance of hitting longer drives.
