The hand-operated impulse sealer is made for economical yet productive sealing. When sealing simply hold the handle down until light comes on, let cool and release forms a tight, secure 1/8" wide seal on polyethylene and polypropylene up to a thickness of 6 mils with no warm-up necessary. Electricity is used only when the sealing bar is down. We carry 4", 8", 12" and 16" impulse sealers. On all sizes of the sealers, you have the option of using a round wire or flat wire. A round wire seals and cuts in the same area. The flat wire is just made to seal a plastic bag or poly tubing.
