A corneal patch graft is a surgical procedure where a piece of tissue, typically from a donor cornea, is used to repair or replace damaged or diseased portions of the cornea. This can be done to treat conditions such as corneal thinning, perforations, or other structural abnormalities. The graft is carefully placed and sutured onto the recipient's cornea to restore its integrity and function. The goal is to improve vision and maintain the health of the eye.
