How to operate the Foward Collision Mitigation System on the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV

The Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV (Plug in Hybrid Electric Vehicle) is the world's first 4x4 plug-in hybrid SUV, and features a number of clever safety features, including a Forward Collision Mitigation (FCM) System. Utilising sensor technology, the Outlander FCM monitors traffic in front of the vehicle and should the likelihood of an collision be detected it will take action to warn the driver and if necessary apply the brakes to prevent or reduce the consequences of an impact.
