Let's have some fun with the Fulltone GT-500 Booster/Distortion pedal. This FET-driven pedal packs two individual sections, one for booster/overdrive and one for distortion. The distortion side has a thicker sound with more gain compared to the booster/overdrive side, and they each have their own distinct character.
You can actually change the order of the two sections, which is handy when you want to place the boost at the end of the change to get a transparent volume increase. When you want your boost/overdrive section to drive the distortion section harder, flip the switch to put the boost/overdrive first in the chain.
I really dig the inductor-based EQ on this pedal, it really gives you a lot of colors to explore. Crank this pedal up, and I'm sure you'll find some inspiring tones. Thanks for watching!
