Sengled With Alexa - Amazon Echo Plus and Sengled Bulbs - Connected and Working Together
In this video, I show you how to get your Sengled smart bulbs connected to your Amazon Echo Plus and Amazon Alexa. Alexa can control your Sengled bulbs without the use of any Sengled Hub as long as you have an Amazon Echo Plus with Zigbee. This is a Sengled Alexa setup tutorial video for you to follow.
Your Sengled and Alexa work pretty well together when you get them connected through the use of the Smart Home capability in the Alexa app on your iOS or Android device. Due to the fact that I'm using an Echo Plus with a Zigbee Hub onboard, there is no requirement for a Sengled Element Classic Hub. It's just Sengled to Alexa straight, and your voice can control it all from there.
Now, if you don't have an Echo Plus, you can also connect to Alexa through the use of another Zigbee hub. In this video, I show you how to use your Samsung SmartThings hub to make that connection and to then connect that to Alexa. Therefore, an Echo Dot or an Echo can control your Sengled bulbs.
In the end, the interface betwen your Amazon Echo Plus and your Sengled Element Classic bulbs is excellent and make for a great smart home control experience.
