An adult garden likes "decor
An adult garden likes "decor with history"... And if there is no such thing? You can do it yourself! A bit of a hassle and will take time, but the result will justify itself.
Difficulty of execution 3 out of 5. Not for a beginner, but art education is not required here either.
The composition of the solution: for 1 part of cement 2 parts of sand + (water with PVA glue in a ratio of 1: 1)
You will also need: polystyrene foam, paint mesh for plaster, steel wire (preferably 1.5-2 mm thick), protective gloves (preferably latex) and a respirator (medical mask).
All manipulations are performed only on raw concrete. Usually this is no more than 8 hours of break after previous actions with it at a temperature not higher than +25 degrees Celsius.
It took me 2 hours to remake the ball.
On a stand: 1 hour + break + 2 hours.
On "artichoke"; 1 hour (preparation) + 3 hours (decoration) + break + 1 hour (connection to the stand).
The video did not include frames of how I turn the "artichoke" after connecting to the stand. This must be done immediately before the concrete is dry. Very careful not to break. A crack at the junction will definitely appear, but it is easy to cover it up. If the concrete is damp, then this will not affect the quality of the product.
At this point, you can adjust the vertical position of the top of the garden figure. Then it will be too late.
After the amendments, the product cannot be moved for one week.
Painting:
gray paint 1 layer + break + 1 layer
white paint: 1 layer and immediately remove the excess before it dries.
