The assassination attempt on Donald
The assassination attempt on Donald Trump is a reminder of the threat all politicians face.
It came after what Sophy Ridge called one of the "ugliest" elections we have seen in the UK, with many candidates saying they felt unsafe on the campaign trail.
Lord Walney has written to the home secretary calling for an inquiry but told Sophy there was no way of completely protecting MPs.
