Contestants were quizzed on their knowledge of history in the Australian game show Flashback. Though most of the queries were academic in nature, some of the answers were predicated upon pop-culture categories. And it also helped if the contestants were cognizant of the world outside their native Australia. Flashback was seen over that country's ABC network at 6 p.m. on a Monday through Friday basis beginning in 2000.
