Video showing current progress on recreating the Stour Valley line between Shelford & Marks Tey, along with the Bury St Edmunds branch from Long Melford, the Colne Valley route and the Saffron Walden branch.
This bideo covers the Shelford - Long Melford section. The recreation is centred on the period around 1959 - 1960, just before there were any major curtailments to service, however some sidings had already been removed in the mid 1950s.
The video starts as we leave Shelford, this station has noy yet been modelled.
The video also includes a brief fly around each station as we drive down the route, before completing this leg of the journey at Long Melford.
