China Claims New Satellite Will Clean Space Debris, But Is It Aimed To Take Down Rival Satellites?

China successfully launched a military satellite to test "space debris mitigation technology". The Shijian-21 satellite was launched onboard a Long March 3B rocket lifted off on October 24. Though only a few details were available about the classified launch, some state media reports said the mission was successful.
