The definition TestCase was initially determined in the UML Testing Profile (UTP). This is a UML based, standardized and domain independent modeling language to support model based testing. The first release 1.0 was published in 2005
The SysML came two years later. It has taken over the definition of the UTP TestCases one to one, replicated so to speak. This makes it a SysML TestCase that can be used consistently with the UTP TestCase Defintion.
Unfortunatly there is no option to directly create a SysML TestCase in Rhapsody SysML. Neither in the ContextMenu nor in the Drawing Toolbar you will find this option. This can only be achieved via detours. In this Video I explain how to create a TestCase in Rhapsody SysML and how to switch On the hidde TestCase entries in the Context Menu and in the Drawing Toolbar. Examples are from the Book "SysML for Beginner"
