HOW TO EUTHANIZE A BUTTERFLY OR MOTH SPECIMEN

This video was designed to help aspiring Lepidopterists' know some tips on how to quickly and effectively kill a butterfly or moth specimen for scientific research. We know this video may be controversial and our channel is not designed to promote the useless killing of insects of any kind. Rather, we know the value of scientific collecting of butterfly and moth specimens for the advancement of knowledge of these creatures. We strongly advise seeking proper permits for collecting no matter what lands you desire to survey. Having a method and desired research project in mind with goals and hypothesis following scientific processes and procedures is very important. We strongly advise not collecting any species that are considered threatened  or imperiled  or endangered as we have a passion for the conservation of all butterfly and moth species.
