Hello! Today I will show you how to satin stitch.
Satin stitch is one of the basics of hand embroidery, as it is the most common one that is used for filling the shapes. This stitch can create a smooth block of color with a lovely satin-like finish.

I always start my satin stitch in the middle of the shape. It helps keep the stitches straight. If the figure is large or irregular, then you can divide it into several parts. I split the heart shape into three equal parts.

For me, the satin stitch is the essential stitch for a complete embroidery. It adds a beautiful touch to the design, giving it a soft, flat, and smooth finish that is unique to this stitch.

Additionally, the satin stitch is versatile, allowing for the coverage of larger areas with its seamless, polished appearance. Its adaptability makes it a go-to choice for achieving both intricate details and bold, solid fills in embroidery projects.
