Documentation is a must for any Rest or Web APIs as the people who are going to use is not going to have implementation details of Web APIs. Swagger is a great tool for documenting your APIs and It also provides great UI for testing your APIs. You can find more information about swagger at - https://swagger.io/
In this video, I have described how we can use swagger in our ASP.NET Core Web API application. I have done a demonstration of some of the features of it.
