Like a real Scandinavian capital, Oslo is a fashionable, stylish, free city that embodies Norwegian traditions and culture, beautiful architecture, and Norwegians' love for nature.
You just need to walk around Oslo, breathe deeply, and absorb the calm and pleasant atmosphere of this beautiful city.
We walked around Oslo City on a winter day on Sunday in January, when the snow rustles under our feet, and there are still lights on the houses since Christmas when there are few tourists in the city and you can not rush anywhere.
In this video, we propose to walk with us, admire the city, and understand what you can see in one day in the capital of Norway.
We started our walk from the Sørenga waterfront, where we admired the Munch Museum and the Color Line cruise ships that sail to Denmark.
Then we went for a walk to Bygdøy, the island of museums, a strong wind was blowing and we decided that we would definitely come back here in the summer!
Further, our way lay in the most famous park in Norway, Vigelandsparken!
Then we took a brisk walk from the Royal Palace (Det kongelige slott) along the main street of the city Karl Johans gate to the Station (Oslo Sentralstasjon) and the Opera (Operahuset Oslo).
It was getting dark and back we returned past the Barcode area after walking along the Akrobaten Bru bridge.
Of course, Oslo in winter is especially beautiful as Oslo is a big city by Norwegian standards, we will definitely come back here in the spring to take a walk in those places that we missed this time.
