A night Walk in Mogambo
A night Walk in Mogambo neighborhood, west of Aleppo, which is distinguished by its beautiful buildings, wide streets, and markets distributed throughout the neighborhood.
Mogambo neighborhood was established at the end of the fifties of the last century by an Aleppo businessman named (Maurice Abaji). This man founded a company called (Construction and Urbanism) whose goal was to establish a beautiful and upscale residential neighborhood in which all services were available.
Abaji chose a desolate area located west of the city to realize this dream. One of the elements of the project was the creation of a local market that still exists today, wide streets, buildings, beautiful villas, gardens, and a family club called “Mogambo,” which is the name of a famous American movie at the time, and thus the neighborhood was later called “Mogambo.”
