Experimental Medicine Specialist Oytun Erbaş gave advice to GZT for a healthy life. He answered our questions about cancer, depression and gluten. Stating that the treatment of cancer is chemotherapy, Erbaş also stated that 50% of the causes of depression are genetic.
Oytun Erbaş was born on November 15, 1978 in Izmir. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Ödemiş, İzmir.
He graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 2001 as the second in the term. He graduated 7 times in TUS.
He worked as a Research Assistant (2001-2012) in the Departments of Internal Medicine, Radiology, Physiology and Experimental Medicine, Neuroscience. He became a specialist in Physiology and Experimental Medicine at Ege University Faculty of Medicine in November 2012.
He worked as an Assistant Professor at Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University Faculty of Medicine between May 2013 and December 2014. He has been working at Demiroğlu Bilim University Faculty of Medicine since January 2015. He is the Founder and Director of the "EXPERIMENTAL MEDICINE INSTITUTE" (In-Vitro and In-Vivo Lab) of Demiroğlu Bilim University in Gebze-Turkiye.
Associate Professor of Physiology and Experimental Medicine in May 2018. got the title.
He has a voice in the international arena on oxytocin and neuroprotection. He added new treatment agents to the literature in the treatment of autism. Inflammation and behavior, diabetes, metabolic syndrome, among other areas of study.
