Chicago Jazz Interview Blue Note Recording Artist Immanuel Wilkins

Blue Note Recording Artist Immanuel Wilkins discusses his 2nd release on Blue Note Records and how he developed the compositions and how he put the recording together in movements which leads to the 7th movement consisting of only one written note. Wilkins talks about his experiences playing and when things really start to really connect on the bandstand it is almost like the music is coming through them from another place. "The 7th Hand" pushes himself and his band to get to that place on the recording and at every performance.
