TRIANGLE (BBC Tv 1981) Episode 1

The most maligned programme ever produced by the BBC, that they have never repeated since (except on satellite channel UK Gold). 40 years ago, BBC planners were looking for a new soap idea. "How about the day to day life of a North Sea Ferry" was suggested and TRIANGLE was borne. They brought in top actress Kate O'Mara to lead, and told her for the opening scene she had to lie topless on the deck of a North Sea Ferry in the winter time. Amazingly she did it.
