It is very important to backup your favorite files such as documents, photos, videos etc. to protect them from being lost forever.
There are two ways to do it, you can either back them up locally to an external backup drive such as this WD 8TB My Book or back them up to the cloud online. Of course, you can do both methods and in fact, it is preferable to use both ways.
