Using Reaper's ReaTune To Create Vocal Harmonies

http://www.homebrewaudio.com/using-re... - You can use a plugin, called ReaTune, that comes with Reaper (audio recording software) to create vocal harmonies from just a single track of singing. Personally, I think actually singing all the harmonies yourself (or having other singers or course) is the best way to record vocal harmony. But the ability to have a computer help you with that can be useful, especially if you have a hard time with singing harmonies. Typically, programs dedicated to creating harmonies are expensive. But if you have Reaper (which only costs $65 after a 60-day free trial), you already have what you need. I showed one way to do it with a Reaper plugin called ReaVoice in the video here: Use Reaper's ReaVoice Effect To Creat... In today's video, you see how to do it with ReaTune. Sure, the resulting harmony sounds a bit "computery." But it isn't bad for free:). And it might be just the right cool effect for some folks. It's certainly worth knowing how to do.
