Ingredients
*Olive oil - 2Tbsp
*Onion(finely chopped) - 1Cup / 150 / 1 medium size onion
*Celery(finely chopped) - 1Cup / 150g /3 celery stalks
*Carrot (finely chopped) - 1Cup / 150g /2 medium carrots
*Salt to taste (I have added total 1+1/4 tsp salt)
*Garlic(finely chopped) - 1Tbsp(3 to 4 cloves of garlic)
*Dried Oregano - 1Tsp
*Chilli flake - ¼Tsp (Optional)
*Cooked chickpeas - 2Cups / 1 can
*Strained tomatoes/Passata - 1+½Cup / 350ml
*Water - 4Cups / 1L
*Pasta - 2Cups(approximately)/ 160g
* Parsley(finely chopped) - 1/3Cup / 15g {for garnishing}
*Olive oil - 1Tbsp {for garnishing}

P.S  - I have used macaroni pasta but you can use any pasta of your choice.
Also please note that by the time the pasta is done most of the water will dry and you will be left with a creamy sauce. But if it becomes too dry you can always add some boiling water and adjust the consistency as per your liking.
