How I used a Roof Anchor & Body Harness to Paint My 2 Story House![Roof Safety 101][Review]

I wanted to paint my 2 story house myself since it costs a ton(around $10-20K here in SF Bay Area) plus I live about 300 feet from the ocean which means I have to repaint my house every 5 years due to the salty air and fog, even paint rusts after a few years here because salt attaches to the paint and starts rusting. Of course, I did find out you can elongate the life of your paint by spraying down once or twice a year to get the salt water off. I used Behr Ultra Primer + Paint PPU 15-13 Blue Hydrangea color, which works great, 1 thick coat is all you need, no need to do a primer. If you guys want, I can make a video on the paint too, let me know in the comments. Well, I also wanted to be able to do touch-up on my own house and also fix things near the roof such as vents or redoing caulking on my 2nd story windows. Now, if you fall from ladder at around 25 feet(height of my house), you are guaranteed to break a leg, become paralyzed, or instantly die. So, I did a research online to see if there was a safe way to use the ladder and paint my house. Well, I found out that Amazon sells $100 roof anchor + hardness kit. It comes with temporary roof anchor so I also bought a permanent anchor that I can attach to top of my roof so I can use it anytime I want to fix my house. It's been 8 months since I've installed the anchor and boy, it has saved my life and guaranteed that I won't get hurt from working on my 2 story house. The roof anchor with rope also helps you get into angles otherwise not possible on your ladder, which is another bonus of using it, you can use it as additional support while painting in odd angles. If you have a tall house, I do highly recommend installing such a roof anchor and protect yourself from falling/death.
