Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is crossing another milestone today as it opens the doors to its second medical school. Located at its Delhi NCR Campus, the institution upholds the vision of its Chancellor Amma, Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, through a combination of education for a values-based life and education for earning a living. By bringing the two together, it will foster doctors with the skills, mental strength, and heart to uplift the world.
Amrita’s approach to medical education is a unique ecosystem that combines studies and research with hands-on, practical learning with patients—a rare formula. In 2002, Amrita began Kerala’s first private medical college. Today, it expands its reach in medical and health sciences to the Delhi NCR with a holistic vision of well-being.
