Adding sounds to your breathwork has many benefits.
Without any effort or almost unknowingly, your exhalations become much longer than usual.
It's important because longer exhalations turn on the parasympathetic nervous system, our ''rest and restore mode''.
Any vibrating sound such as humming will also tone the vagus nerve, the main nerve of the parasympathetic nervous system branch.
If you struggle with controlling your breath and breathwork makes you hyper-aware of your breath and only increases your anxiety, making sounds as you exhale is a great and gentle start.

In this video I share mmm breath you can do pretty much anytime.
And Voo breath which is specifically designed to regulate your nervous system.

But that's just scratching the surface of the possibilities.
If you need a comprehensive guide to the world of healthy and efficient breathing I invite you to the Breathe Well, Live Well program.

Perfect if:
- your breath is shallow and rapid
- you have chronic neck and shoulder tension
- you run out of breath easily
- you wake up tired
- you are constantly stressed and anxious
- you have asthma or long COVID
- you have digestive issues such as reflux or chronic constipation
