A tour of my favorite
A tour of my favorite little beach town and summer cottage called Wolhwainn by Jukdo Beach, Yang Yang, which is along the East Coast and a few hours away from Seoul.
In the early 2010's a group of surfers found a beach in this little village. Here, they were restless, catching the waves morning, day, and night. So, the next time they came around, they brought more of their friends, and their friends brought more of their friends. They all fell in love with the place, that they decided to settle down in this little town, opening up cafes, bars, and surf shops by the waters. Several years later, this town, called Jukdo is now one of the most frequented destinations attracting 650,000 surfers each year
and the 1st surf town to be ever created in the country.

Amongst the early settlers is this one-of-a-kind beach cottage, designed to make every visitor feel at home.
On the first floor of the building is a premium custom surf shop, Schurrer's.
Before this guest house was built, there was another inn that preceded in this same lot since the 1970s, named "Wolhwa Inn," which represent the glimmering moon hung over the little mountains by the beach.
On foot, it is just a minute away from the beach and it is also one of my favorite places on earth.
