Two minute tip about a feral dog allowing a collar to be put on him, but this video is really about how lowering energy, positive vibes and taking some time with a dog can make things much more pleasant for the dog and the handler.
This feral dog needed a collar put on since he was chewing through his slip lead when learning how to walk on a leash. I gain consent from the dog by lowering my energy, mentally making a connection with the dog, and gradually moving the collar closer to him while getting him used to touch around his neck.
