The song is about the last meeting between lovers, that never happened. The pain of not having had closure & separating from your partner is explored.

Shivi as a producer used analog synth sounds to approach the afro-hip hop space. Pop freestyle/flow rap is her songwriting style here and the singing style is her forte, a bluesy soul pop projection.

Nitesh AKA Nick, who is repping the nascent pahadi hip hop scene, brought some distinguished bars to Shivi’s vision of this soundscape. The narrative is further understood in Nick’s rap in his powerful delivery.
