Abaqus is well suited to conduct Finite Element Analysis for fixed equipment in power plants, refineries, petrochemicals, factories, and offshore and onshore facilities.
To do FEA for fixed equipment via Abaqus, you must have many general skills and some special skills, depending on the case under investigation.
To facilitate studying these skills, we previously published the “Comprehensive Abaqus Package,” which includes 16 chapters and is 40 hours long.
Based on the valuable feedback and comments of some of our clients working in the oil & gas industry or marine engineering who purchased that package, we are determined to publish a subpackage of the “Comprehensive Abaqus Package” to make it more useful for people working in those fields.
The following section introduces this subpackage and explains its differences from the main package.
