Abbreviations:

ch - chain
chs - chains
sl st - slip stitch
sp - space
hdc - half double crochet
hdc2tog - half double crochet 2 together
dc - double crochet
dc2tog - double crochet 2 together
st - stitch
sts - stitches

For other sizes:

0 - 3 months use 3.5mm crochet hook
3 - 6 months use 4mm crochet hook
6 - 9 months use 4.5mm crochet hook
9 - 12 months use 5mm crochet hook


Sole Length Sizes:

0 - 3 months - 3.5"
3 - 6 months - 4"
6 - 9 months - 4.5"
9 - 12 months - 5"

Written Pattern:

Round 1: ch15, 2dc in 4th ch from hook, 1dc in next 10chs. 5dc in next ch. Working on the opposite side, 1dc in next 10sts. 2dc in next st. sl st in 3rd ch to join.

Round 2: ch3, dc in same st as ch3 made. 2dc in next 2dc, 1dc in next 10dc, 2dc in next 5dc, 1dc in next 10dc. 2dc in next 2dc. sl st in 3rd ch to join. (40sts in total)

Round 3: ch3, 1dc in each dc across, sl st in 3rd ch to join.

Round 4: ch3, (dc2tog) 2times, 1dc in next 31dc, (dc2tog) 2times. sl st in 3rd ch to join. (36sts in total)

Round 5: ch3, (dc3tog) 2times, 1dc in next 23dc, (dc3tog) 2times. sl st in 3rd ch to join. (28sts in total)
