No More Physical Copies? Physical vs Digital Manga, Anime & Video Games

So I saw a tweet the other day about the PS Vita and how physical copies of games will no longer be made for it. Even though I don't own a Vita or collect those games the concept of it kinda bummed me out. I love collecting physical media and would hate to see the day where things like manga, anime, and video games can only be purchased digitally. What about you guys? What do you prefer?
